BATTLE OF THE BANDS, 21st – 31st May 2008
Dunedin is known for its sounds; be they established, developing or random.  A great place to see a wide selection of this local talent is at the OUSA Battle of the Bands.   Bands duke it out within their heats to win a spot in the finals, where competition is fierce to take out the prizes on offer.  Grab a group of friends; come along to Refuel and check out the competition!  Entry is free...

There must be at least one 2008 OUSA student in your band.

The first 28 bands to confirm their registration by returning this form will more than likely be accepted. OUSA reserves the right to reject an application. Late applicants will be accepted at the discretion of the OUSA Events Manager. Each band will have to sign a contract outlining the conditions of entry and behavior expected. These will be available when the bands and the schedule are confirmed.

OUSA will supply all front of house needs plus two fold-back monitors and microphones, stands etc. We will also supply a set of drums (you will need your own cymbals), a FOH sound engineer (if you have your own you will need to stipulate this on the form). You must bring all your own backline gear and any extension cords and multi boxes than you might need. Our sound engineer will contact you closer to the time to sort out any complicating factors.

The venue is ReFuel.
