BALLROOM DANCE - BEGINNERS
This course is for beginners. It is comprised of a series of five classes covering the waltz, quickstep, slow quickstep (foxtrot), and if time permits and participants are interested, the cha cha or rhumba. It is preferable, but not essential, to enrol with a partner. If you are enrolling with a partner, you will both need to fill out an enrolment form.

BELLY DANCE - COMBOS FOR THE DANCE FLOOR
Discover, or learn more about, the fascinating and contrary nature of belly dance, a dance form that is both ancient, and modern; primal, and influenced by fashion. As well as covering a little of the history of Belly Dance, this course will focus on core belly dance moves that are fast and percussive, and suitable for the dance floor. By the end of the course you will have learnt a few fun combinations you can use on the dance floor. This course is suitable for complete beginners and those who wish to drill core moves and learn some fun combos to modern Eygptian pop music.

BELLY DANCE - TRIBAL
Discover, or learn more about, the fascinating and contrary nature of belly dance, a dance form that is both ancient and modern; primal, and influenced by fashion. Tribal Style Belly Dance is a "group modern improvisational style" with its roots in Rom (or Gypsy) heritage. Tribal inspiration comes from the ancient Ghawazee dances of Egypt, with Indian and Spanish stylisations. This course will focus on core tribal belly dance moves, both slow and fast, as well as correct form, which is proud and sculptural. Tribal style is quite physically demanding. This course is suitable for beginners and those with previous belly dance experience who wish to experience Tribal Style.

BURLESQUE DANCE
Hootchy Kootchy Girls Burlesque combines old Hollywood glamour with classy caberet. Glamourous, fun, sexy but conservative burlesque classes: this style of burlesque is a homage to the 1940's and 1950's American style burlesque with roots in vaudeville, caberet and show girls. Classes are open to women over the age of 18 independent of their level of dance experience and are designed to help women find their sexiness and sensuality through a modest form of burlesque (not strip tease).

CEROC - BEGINNERS
Ceroc is a funky partner dance done to Chart, Nightclub and Swing music (and just about any other music you can think of!). This is a partner dance based on modern jive that you can dance at parties and clubs. It is preferable, but not essential, to enrol with a partner. If you are enrolling with a partner, you will both need to fill out an enrolment form. Please note: This is a social dance requiring the rotation of partners.

INDIAN DANCE
The name Bharathanatyam comes from the words Bhava (expression), Raga (Music), Tala (rhythm and Natya (theatrical presentation). Bharathanatyam is the embodiment of music in visual form, a ceremony, and an act of devotion. Having its origins in Tamil Nadu in South India, this dance form is based on the book 'Natyashastra' by Sage Bharatha whih was written during the period 200 BC and 200 Ad. There are three distinct elements to it: Nritta (rhythmic dance movements), Natya (mime, or dance with a dramatic aspect), and Nritya (combination of Nritta and Natya). Come experience this confluence of energy and transform it to something artistic and empowering. This course, led by Swaroopa Unni is for beginners and training will be given on the basic techniques and the hand gestures used in this dance form.

IRISH STEP DANCE
Learn about the basics of Irish Step Dancing, including solo jigs and reels and Ceilidh, just like the professionals on stage! This course is designed for fun and physical fitness in a relaxed atmosphere.

MODERN FUNK HIP HOP - INTERMEDIATE
If you have had extensive, previous modern funk hip-hop experience and are looking for a challenge, then this course is for you! This course is also suitable if you are new to modern funk hip-hop but you are experienced in other dance forms. In five weeks you will learn a hip hop dance routine. In addition, you will also practice hip hop combinations and popular warm up movements.

ROCK N ROLL - BEGINNERS
This course provides an introduction to Rock n Roll Dance. Although originally done to 1950's music. Rock n Roll can be danced to most music and in most settings! Absolute beginners Rock n Roll will learn some basic moves with the option of some fun moves such as the straddle, the pull through and drops. It is preferable, but not essential, to enrol with a partner, you will both need to fill out an enrolment form.
