First Aid

COMPREHENSIVE FIRST AID

The aim of this course is to produce a First Aider who is able to provide 'immediate' First Aid treatment for emergencies in the workplace. Topics to be covered include CPR, bleeding, shock, fractures, head injuries, sprains, hypothermia, burns, poisoning and medical emergencies such as asthma attack, diabetes and epileptic fit etc. All participants receive the NZRC First Aid manual. This course offers NZQA credits 6400, 6401 and 6402.
