LIQUOR BAN
Remember there is a liquor ban in North Dunedin over the weekend. You can buy alcohol and take it to your flat, but you can't walk around with open bottles or drink on the street. There will be police in the area. We've told them to be nice but they WILL arrest you for things like throwing bottles, fighting, public urination (even if it is on your lawn) and the Code of Conduct does apply.
Don't be the dickhead on TV3 news and keep the drinking in the pubs (before Uni buys them all).
There will be an extra rubbish collection on Friday. Make sure you chuck out all your crap before the holidays and take any furniture etc off your front porch.
Drunk Bogans on your front lawn?
It's your property and you have a right to tell them to piss off to the Cook, but if they're from Gore and don't understand the Cops can move them on for you. If your exams are over and your house is empty let OUSA/the Campus Cop know so we can keep an eye on your property.
If you run in to trouble over the weekend call Campus watch on 0800 479 5000 if it is urgent or OUSA on 479 5332 on Monday and we'll help you out.
