The Otago University OSA Student Chapter was formed in 2009. The aims of the chapter are to enhance the quality of optics student life through the promotion of student community, student education, and industrial contact. The Chapter organises and participates in local, national, and international events. The Chapter also participates in optics outreach within the University of Otago and the wider community.
