African Dance

OVERVIEW

Students will learn traditional rhythms/songs/ dances and the stories behind the rhythms of West Africa from an authentic source. Master Drummer and Dancer Koffie Fugah is an experienced and internationally known musician and teacher, who is able to work with all level of experience and ability in a fun and friendly environment.


WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED

No experience is necessary, the classes are designed for all levels and aimed to give everyone the experience of West African Music and Dance.


WHAT TO EXPECT

Both drumming and dance are invigorating and energises anyone who has taken part. For some it can be challenging like any situation where you learn something new but there is no pressure of exams or expectation. So, what are you waiting for, take this time out to do something fun for you!

Ending 28th September 2020
Fee: $45.00 Bring Comfortable clothing, water and a small towel and of course an open mind to a different genre of dance from West Africa.
