OVERVIEW

Nau mai, tāuti mai! If you're interested in learning more about te ao Māori (the Māori worldview) in a non-confrontational environment, this Māori language and culture for beginners course is for you.


WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED

No previous experience is needed, just a willingness to learn.


WHAT TO EXPECT

In these five sessions, we will explore the basics of te reo Māori (Māori language), culture (including waiata, karakia and tikanga marae), history and perspectives.
