Bangladeshi Students' Association (BDSA)

DSA is the very first Bangladeshi student’s association established in 2016 affiliated with OUSA. The following four objectives are listed below:

a. Creating a Bangladeshi socio-cultural hub for the OUSA/OPSA member students, Bangladeshi community in Dunedin and any others interested in Bangladesh. 
b. Celebrating and presenting the best bits of Bangladeshi culture and cuisine. 
c. Developing a voluntary network of the local community, University of Otago/Otago Polytechnic staffs and alumni in aid of the OUSA/OPSA member Bangladeshi students to study and live in New Zealand.
d. Fostering internationalisation of the University of Otago, particularly in Bangladesh through information sharing to the prospective Bangladeshi students.
