Drawing for Beginners ~ Semester TWO

Drawing for Beginners ~ Semester TWO

This course will teach you the “line/s of drawing”, properties of different grade pencils, observation skills, the drawing “process”, beginner “techniques” and helpful hints and the use of tone/charcoal to depict form. You’ll primarily draw from “real life” objects (as opposed to photographs). There will be plenty of time for questions and answers and lots of encouragement to develop your own style. This course is very much a judgement free zone. This course is run in conjunction with Ma-Fi Arts. Fiona Shaw-Robertson and Mathew Robertson both hold BFA degrees and are practising artists working skilfully with a diverse range of methods and media. So come and learn from the experts, and start your very own drawing odyssey.
