This course will give you an introduction to the ancient art of hand henna. You will cover the history, traditions and science behind henna. You'll get a beginners guide to the use of black henna, the use of henna stencils, the theory behind making your own henna. Then start your journey by practising on paper, how to hold the henna cone, making henna with stencils and plenty of practice on your own hands.
PLEASE NOTE: this course will be using 100% pure henna. This is the safest form of henna. However, we can not guarantee that you will not react. Reactions that could potentially occur range from redness to itching, burning, swelling, scaling, broken skin, blistering or scarring. Therefore we recommend those with sensitive skin or dermatitis DO NOT enrol for this course.
