At the Otago University Students Association (OUSA), we are recruiting Reception Duty Supervisors for our Clubs & Societies Centre. If you have experience supervising casual staff and/or a facility, then this is the role for you.

 

Similarly to our receptionists, you’ll have a huge influence over customer experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who love variety and want to gain or build on their experience in a leadership role. What we need in return is competent “front-facers” but also people who are good with admin can show initiative and have a personality to match our inclusive and welcoming persona.

• Supervision of staff and the facility

• Communicate with the Reception Coordinator

• Ensuring a positive experience for all visitors

• First port of call for issues that arise while on shift

• Use and demonstrate initiative

Current shifts available are Saturday evenings 3:30pm-10:15pm with the option to work fortnightly only (every second Saturday free) and cover other shifts for Receptionists and Duty Supervisors during the week or weekend.

 

If you are returning to study next year, there is further opportunity to rejoin the team with the option of other shifts available.
