Looking for a place to paint, sew, sketch, or try out a new craft? The OUSA Craft Room is a dedicated space where students can get creative, collaborate, and unwind. Whether you’re working solo on a personal project or bringing friends together for a crafty afternoon, this space is yours to enjoy during Centre opening hours:

Weekdays: 8:00 am – 9:45 pm
Weekends: 9:00 am – 9:45 pm

No booking required! Just pop in!
To use the Craft Room, simply swap your valid Student ID at Reception and scan the QR code to confirm you’ve read the usage guidelines. Access is via the Centre’s back door (through the car park), so please take care when entering, especially in wet or icy conditions.

For Clubs
OUSA-affiliated clubs can book the Craft Room for events by emailing the Reception & Centre Services Coordinator.

Sharing the Space
This is a community space – respect others who may be working alongside you. Keep food and drink away from craft supplies, return any shared tools or materials to their proper place, and agree on music choices with others before playing.

Clean as You Create
You are responsible for leaving the Craft Room ready for the next person:

• Wipe down tables and surfaces

• Return all equipment and supplies

• Dispose of rubbish and recycling in the correct bins

Cleaning supplies are provided in the room, so it’s easy to tidy as you go.
