Slow Food Youth Otago

Slow Food Youth Otago

SFYO is a food-focused group that facilitates education and action surrounding food systems, food waste, climate change, and planet-healthy food production (nourishing not only ourselves but Papatūānuku as well). Our mahi centres around ensuring a world that provides good, clean and fair food for all. Whether it be in an educational talk, a documentary, a potluck, or a day foraging in the beautiful Ōtepoti outdoors, we hope to be constantly learning how to celebrate food that values sustainable production, honours its cultural significance, and looks after one another in everyway possible! No food knowledge is needed, just the love of kai!
