A LITTLE ON THE FACILITATORS
Cuba Rust - I am one of the Team Leaders at Life Matters. The experiences I have had growing up with whānau and friends have made me aware of the need for us to come together in community to support each other during hard times. I am thankful to have the opportunity to start conversations through safeTALK workshops and connect with wonderful people in that space.
Community Support Person - Alongside our trainer we will have a community support person, who may be different each time, who has done Advanced Suicide Intervention Skills Training. This is to ensure if anyone needs some extra support, or just a chat, there will be a trained supporter there to talk to.
