Life Drawing

Life Drawing

A course for everyone from beginners to experienced artists. These are tutored sessions - both an instructor and a model are provided. This course aims to provide direction, constructive feedback and a basic skill set to aid in your drawing abilities whatever they may be.

Life drawing is the art of drawing a living person, not from a photograph or from memory or imagination but from the model in front of you.

This course is taught by the expirienced duo from Ma-Fi Arts. Fiona Shaw-Robertson and Mathew Robertson both hold BFA degrees and are practising artists working skilfully with a diverse range of methods and media.

No previous experience required.

A step-by-step prescription for the perfect drawing is not provided. Instead you are encouraged to develop your own style, in a non-judgemental,  and encouraging environment. The first 3 sessions are with a female life model and the final 2 sessions are with a male life model.
