safeTALK - suicide alertness and prevention

Join us for a safeTALK suicide prevention workshop led by the Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust. This session will help you recognise when someone may be struggling with thoughts of suicide, understand why open and direct conversations are important, and learn how to respond with empathy. You’ll gain practical tools for asking safe questions, listening supportively, and connecting someone to life-saving help.

The workshop is facilitated by Bella, a trained safeTALK presenter from Life Matters. A community support person—trained in Advanced Suicide Intervention Skills—will also be present, offering additional support for anyone who may need it during or after the session.
