The OUSA Recreation bring you, in collaboration with Nutrition & Life, a workshop dedicated to Mindful eating, the smarter way to good nutrition. In these workshops you will cover both of the Nutrition & Life Thursday evening Mindful Eating sessions we have on offer (Mindful Eating - To Make Peace With Food and Mindful Eating - In Practice) as well enjoying a Mindful lunch experience between the two sessions – gluten free & vegetarian options available on request.

In these two workshops you will cover:

Mindful Eating – To Make Peace with Food
In this 1 ½ hour workshop you will get to explore topics such as:
• The truth about diets – why diets don’t work and what we can do instead
• Embrace body shape – feel good in your own skin and forget weight and body concerns
• Embrace body cues – stop feeling crazy around food and learn techniques to help you with cravings and understand your appetite

Mindful Eating – In Practice
In this 1 ½ hour workshop you will get to explore topics such as:
• Embrace all foods and make food choices simple and enjoyable, learn to eat for satisfaction and fullness.
• Understanding emotions and how they can influence our food cravings
• Mindful eating strategies to use at home, work and in our social life
