Otago Postgraduate Association
The Otago Postgraduate Association (OPA) is the primary campus organisation for postgraduate students. OPA was founded in 2018 to offer professional development, student advocacy and support, and social connection to the postgraduate community.
The Otago Postgraduate Association's mission is to,
1) Create a supportive community of postgraduate students from all corners of the university to engage socially and professionally. πππ§‘
2) Prepare our members for their life after postgrad degree by providing opportunities to build on their skill sets and connecting them to their respective industries and academia. π©ππ§ππ¨π
3) Advocate for students rights, mental health, and providing avenues for support and kinship.ππ₯°
The OPA exec is comprised of 12 passionate people who are excited to make your year fun and purposeful.π₯° We will be running events and projects that focus on student wellbeing, professional development, and social connection.Keep an eye out for what's to come.
