OUOMG Club is not affiliated with any overarching martial arts institution under OUSA for martial artists who wish to train and practice their craft while at university.
We rely primarily on the generosity of experienced martial artists and club organizers who contribute their time and skills.
If you personally have any administrative or martial skills or experience you think that you could contribute, please contact one of the club organizers: Ferris Aziz, Oscar Dennison, Joshua Trisnandi and Amanpreet Singh.
Our open nights are every Saturday from 2pm – 4pm at the OUSA Clubs and Socs Building – Activities Hall (located on the 3rd floor)
We ask all members to be respectful and above all else to keep each other safe both inside and outside the gym.
We will be working hand in hand with both OUSA to ensure that members stay safe while training and that any incidents involving members are addressed appropriately.
While we will do our best to ensure a safe training environment, Otago University Open Martial Gym also accepts no liability for any injury incurred while training or for actions by members outside of training.
Please find attached to the email the club info, health and safety form, and some general bag rules. Join our facebook group page https://www.facebook.com/groups/235321580724961 for class updates and if you want to post about contributing to any sessions.View constitution » View code of conduct »
