Salsa
OVERVIEW
Salsa is an energetic, fun partner dance that originated in Cuba. It's a great opportunity to keep fit and meet new friends! Learn to dance Salsa and enjoy the Salsa rhythm, a dance where you can go almost anywhere in the world and enjoy, with anyone, as Salsa is first and foremost a social dance.
BEGINNERS
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED
No experience is required.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This introductory course covers basic salsa footwork and movement! Your own partner? Great if you've got one who's keen, but definitely not essential. This is a fun, social dance to learn with friends, new and old.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED
This course is for those who have completed our beginners course, or who have had previous Salsa dancing experience. If you are not too sure, contact our Recreation Programme Coordinator on sarahtaylor@ousa.org.nz.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This "continued" course builds on the basics you learnt in the beginners course. It will take your skill level, and love of Salsa, to the next level. Expand your knowledge of Salsa movement, and learn some more combinations to practice with your friends. This is a fun, social dance to learn with friends, new and old.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are enrolling with a partner, you will both need to register.
