Ukulele- Continued

Love the ukulele and want to come back for more? Sign up for the next step, our continuing course. Over the duration of this course, you will cover alternative chord voicing’s, simple chord theory, transposing keys, more complex strums, jazz chords, reading chords, counting time and of course many new songs. You will get the most from this course if you already know the basic chords and can change easily from one chord to another.

Fee: $43.00 Bring You must have attended our beginners course OR be able to identify the components of a ukulele, play basic cords with reasonable proficiency, strum competently with a steady rhythm, read simple music chords and understand the basics of tablature. Ukuleles are provided in the class, and are also available for practice on OUSA Clubs and Socs premises outside the class hours – ask at Reception if you need a ukulele and a space to practice. However, if you really want to make the most of this course by doing extra practice, then having your own ukulele (or access to one) is highly recommended. Advice on purchasing a ukulele is given in the first lesson.
