Introduction to Fermentation of Food and Drink

As students you are probably quite familiar with fermented beverages, beer, wine, spirits. Are you keen to learn about other forms of fermentation? Healthy forms of fermentation? Are you keen to learn about fun ways to improve the quality of the food you eat, to improve the functioning of your gut and increase of sense of well being through the art of fermentation? Yes? This is the course for you! In this course you will make kombucha, sauerkraut, ginger beer, lacto fermented veggies, sourdough and more. You will learn the fundamentals of fermentation, the history and science of fermentation and how to make a range of fermented beverages and foods. It is a fun, practical course.
