Sick of seeing the same old “selfies” and snap chats? Reckon you've got an eye for photography. Then test your photography skill and artistic flair and get into our infamous OUSA photo comp. Always a popular competition, so get clicking.Theme? There is no theme so we will literally except just about anything (that you would be comfortable also showing your grandma).
This isn't the World Press Photo Awards, or the Sony World Photography Awards, not even the National Geographic Photo Contest. We won't be using Kodak Ultra Premium paper to print your images on, or getting Mike Hollman into judge the competition. Images displayed during Art Week in Semester 2 and winning entries may be published in the Critic. Feedback isn't given to entrants, this is just for fun.
Submissions will be taken from 1st- 31st July, 2020. There is a limit of 3 entries per person. See entry form below.
Free entry for (and restricted to) Otago University, Otago Polytech, and Otago Language Students.
Prize money: $125 first place, $75 second place and $50 third place. Prizes are awarded via electronic transfer.
Check out the link below for our gallery to check out all the entries.

Entrants agree to have their images and names published on the OUSA website, Facebook page/s, Critic, Healthy Campus Magazine, Art week displays, Recreation Centre Bollards or any other OUSA media avenues.
