Spring Foraging in Dunedin

Spring Foraging in Dunedin

Do you want to know how to get food from the bush without accidentally putting yourself in hospital? Have you ever found yourself wondering whether something is edible or not but not wanted to risk it? Well here is the course for you!

With your guide and course teacher Arlo Priest Forsyth, you'll be given a basic run-down on rules to follow when looking for wild food DURING SPRING, whether it be on a tramp, or even just out walking the dog. You'll be taught how to identify three different species of ferns, various forms of fungus, as well as some common poisonous plants to look out for and avoid.
