Join us for a refreshing day out at Orokonui Ecosanctuary—one of Dunedin’s most stunning wild spaces. You’ll head out on a two-hour guided tour to meet native wildlife, learn about the mahi behind local conservation, and take in the beauty of this predator-free haven. After the tour, you’ll have free time to explore the tracks, wander at your own pace, or relax with a snack.

Transport is included, and the trip is offered at a special discounted rate, making it an easy and affordable escape from campus life.

Just bring walking shoes, a jacket, a water bottle, and some lunch (the café can be busy). A simple, uplifting day connecting with nature—spaces limited!

 

The Rough timeline for the day will be:

✿ 9:15am – Bus arrives outside OUSA Clubs and Socs

✿ 9:30am – bus departs

✿ 10am – Arrive at Orokonui

✿ 10am – 12pm – Guided Tour

✿ 2:30pm – depart Orokonui

✿ 3pm – Arrive back at OUSA Clubs and Socs
