Managing your finances while studying can be tricky – one way to navigate this is to develop your financial literacy! Over our 1.5 hour workshop, we will be talking through all things money-related from a student perspective. This includes topics such as wants versus needs, Studylink and job-hunting in Dunedin. We will also be talking through the ins and outs of payment plans, buy now-pay later providers and student bank accounts.
During this workshop, we will support you to create a weekly budget. We understand talking about money can feel very personal and private. The last half hour of this time slot will be open for students to work one on one with advocates from the OUSA Student Support team.
