Radio One presents to you the 2025 BRING THE NOISE 

A music competition for the movement-makers, the scene-shapers, the devoted pint-night attendees. The ones who know Dunedin’s indie-spirit is forged in authenticity, not algorithms. Open to ALL GENRES and ALL TYPES of music, as long as it is original. Whether you be a rapper, a solo artist, a producer, or a touring level band, anyone and everyone is welcome to Bring the Noise. 

Bring the Noise is focused on building the next generation of Dunedin’s great musical legacy. Hence why this year has expanded to take on a much more industry-specialised, educational approach. There will be music industry-seminars for all, and prize packages tailored to help you get a leg up in the musical world. The winner will walk away with an ace up their sleeve, so to speak, with prizes including: 

• Epic promo packs with Radio One 

• Sublime Studio recording package valued at $2500 

• Music video production package (Otago Polytechnic) 

• Cash prizes up to $500 

• Lil Sister / NicNak PR package

• Merchandise package (Print Room) 

• Press photography package (K.Frost Photography) 

• Logo design package (Daniel Wells Design) 

• Seminar with music industry professionals
