OUSA Recreation encompasses the OUSA Aquatic Centre, the OUSA Squash Courts and the OUSA Clubs and Societies Centre. The Aquatic Centre serves as a multipurpose venue and is home to the Otago University Rowing Club. The OUSA Squash Courts are home to the University of Otago Squash Club although club members and non-club members alike are welcome to use the facility. The OUSA Clubs and Societies Centre is the ultimate student hub! It houses a variety of campus clubs and societies, provides a renowned recreation programme, provides a variety of services and has a wicked line up of rooms and spaces for students to book free of charge.
Why not learn a new skill? There are over 70 short courses going on at Clubs and Socs, from indian cooking to ukulele. Or want to make a quick buck? There are loads of tournaments (with cash prizes) throughout the year, from photography to the famous OUSA bake off!
There are over 160 Clubs and Societies affiliated with OUSA. So whatever you're into, there is probably another group of students that are into it too! Have a good browse through the massive list that you're welcome to join, and don't miss Clubs Day held at the start of each semester.
