Henna for Beginners

Henna for Beginners

This course will give you a solid introduction to the wonderful art of hand henna. Over the course of the 3 sessions you will cover the history, traditions and science behind henna, health aspects and an introduction to black henna. You will get to make and use your own henna from scratch. A whole session will be spent looking at and practicing some of the multitude of stencils/ designs available, initially testing your skills on paper before moving on to plenty of practice on your own hands. The final session will fine tune your skills, before letting you lose on willing members of the public!

PLEASE NOTE: this course will be using 100% pure henna. This is the safest form of henna. However we can not guarantee that you will not react. Reactions that could potentially occur range from redness to itching, burning, swelling, scaling, broken skin, blistering or scaring. Therefore we recommend those with sensitive skin or dermatitis DO NOT enrol for this course.
