safeTALK SUICIDE PREVENTION WORKSHOP: This is a great opportunity to learn invaluable skills that will help you to identify and support a potentially suicidal friend. Most people with thoughts of suicide don’t truly want to die, but are struggling with the pain in their lives. Through their words and actions they are inviting help to stay alive. In this incredibly powerful interactive workshop you will learn to recognise these invitations, or the signs of someone suffering, and the importance of talking directly to your friend. Learn how to ask the right questions and how to listen with empathy, and take positive action by connecting them with lifesaving resources.
