Sewing Continuing/ Alterations

Sewing Continuing/ Alterations

This class would suit those who have completed our Beginners class or have a basic knowledge of using a sewing machine. The focus of these sessions is to give you the skills and confidence to help you, and your home, fulfil your champagne tastes on an L&P budget. Learn how to carry out simple alterations such as adjusting hems, taking-in and letting-out, and (for the more slightly more adventurous) replacing zips. Benefit from the experience and innovative approach to textiles and the environment that your tutor, Fiona Jenkin (Just Atelier) will bring to each session. Each session we will work on project/s that will teach you these new skills, as you continue your sewing adventure. (BYO clothing items welcome. Examples also provided)
