WELCOME!! We are the founding body of American Flag Football in Otago. We have been running for just over a year now and in this time have already seen growth in the interest of American Football and playing the sport within Otago. American Football Otago have sent a team up to nationals (in Auckland) every year since 2022. We have also competeted in Christchurch for a tournament for the previous 2 years. We became South Island champions in 2023 and have since taken 3rd place at the Nationals in 2024. Any individual of any skill level is welcomed and encouraged to give Flag Football a try as it is a non contact, all inclusive sport. 

If you are interested in American football or just keen to throw a ball around come to our Sunday Scrimmages!  It is for all ages, Skills levels, and genders. So, warm up that throwing arm and we will see you there. All important information, training announcements and media can be found on our facebook page. If you have any further questions feel free to message us there or send through an email. We are open to providing training sessions for schools and other institutions.
