Namaste everybody! We are Otago University’s official Indian Student Association (ISA).

The purpose of ISA lies further than our title as a university club. We aim to celebrate Indian culture and traditions with our peers while ensuring that we provide a safe and encouraging atmosphere for all students interested in our culture! Because the celebration of traditional festivals is deep-rooted in most Indian families, every year, ISA aims to serve our students by carrying out a variety of well-organised activities and events to make our Indian community and friends feel at home.

We start the year with a colour bang through our Holi celebrations and then host various events throughout the academic year such as food festivals, Garba, Independence Day and our popular annual cultural night show where we showcase our vibrant culture through acting, singing and dancing. We also have memberships available which allow you to receive exclusive perks around Dunedin

We welcome all friends who love Indian culture to be a part of the ISA family. We are friendly, crazy enthusiastic, very diverse and look forward to meeting everybody who wants to experience 2024 with us!
