The Otago Asian Law Students' Association was founded in 2019 to create a support system for Asian identifying law students throughout their journey at law school. Open from first years onwards, OALSA is a home for Asian law students. OALSA fosters a community which provides social, academic and welfare opportunities to its members, and with sponsorship from Law firms, OALSA's hosts it's own mentoring programme for junior students, academic workshops and other social and welfare events.
