Otago Photography Club is a newly founded hobby club for photography enthusiasts of all skill levels. The club aims to be a platform as a means of connecting with other photographers to foster a healthy photography community in the university. We encourage members to mix around and learn from each other while providing motivation for fellow photographers to go out and take photos.
We will have a term-time monthly theme for a photoshoot where members could go with any other members throughout the month to take photos wherever they wanted. The themes will be inclined towards photography concepts so members will be able to learn a thing or two. OPC will then gather every month to have a discussion of the photos and experiences while announcing the next theme of the month. For each month there will be a photo of the month prize as well as a most improved prize (subject to change).
For just the $5 membership fee, members will get to mix and mingle with more photographers as well as participate in our monthly challenge. We also hope to provide some light snacks for the monthly meet-up and host an online gallery for members' submission using the membership fee.
Do consider joining us and hopefully everyone will have a good time and learn some new skills and techniques for photography. We will also plan one or two out-of-schedule events throughout the year such as a photoshoot competition or maybe even a photography workshop (not confirmed).View constitution »
