At the Otago languages and cultures Club we are all about welcoming people of a variety of people and different levels who speak different european languages. Our members currently are predominantly French speakers but also have some German and a couple others who speak Spanish. Every fortnight we give our members a chance to come along and practice their language skills in a supportive environment. We understand that everyone is at a different stage of their learning journey and that is what we want to create a space to build a supportive community where people feel comfortable to actually practice speaking, as that is the hardest and scariest part for most people. We also do events and activities to ensure our meetings stay fun eg: making crepes.
