Otago Wellness Club
Otago Wellness Club is a student-led community focused on helping you feel your best mentally, physically, and socially while making the most of your time at university. The club is designed for students who want to learn more about overall health and wellbeing, including both mental and physical health. This includes topics such as nutrition, physical movement, stress management, recovery, and building routines that support a balanced lifestyle. Our aim is to create a positive and welcoming environment where students from any background can connect, try new things, and develop simple, practical habits that improve their wellbeing.
What we do:
- Weekly run club and other movement-based activities
- Surfing sessions and outdoor events
- Group dinners and social meet-ups
- Movie nights and live music
- Guest professor talks and interactive wellbeing workshops
- Open conversations about stress management
- Peer advice on wellness related topics (nutrition, exercise, time management, etc.)
- Opportunities to meet new people and build a supportive community
