Welcome to the University of Otago History Students Society!

Established in October 2025, we are excited to start building a welcoming and vibrant community for History students and students interested in History. We will be running social events throughout the year to connect like-minded students!

We also aim to build connections between students and the wider history community in Dunedin: our wonderful museums, libraries, and galleries, so if you want to get involved with these as well H-soc will be a great starting point.

Finally, we want to connect students with the University community be advertising and attending the wide range of History themed events across campus.
