UOPISA supports and promotes the equitable opportunity, wide representation, friendly gathering and participation of Pacific students within the University of Otago. Our aims are: [1] To ensure the University is providing a supportive environment and experience for all Pacific students enrolled, so that they can excell in academic, sporting, cultural and social endeavours, [2] To promote the expression of Pacific cultures and language within the University, and [3] To maintain our good relationships with OUSA, Te Rōpū Māori and the University, where appropriate.
