Authentic Intelligence (AI): Tap Into the Inner Wisdom You Already Have
WHAT ITS ABOUT
With exams looming and the pressure to perform rising, it’s easy to feel disconnected from ourselves. This session is designed to reconnect you with your authentic intelligence — the inner clarity, calm, and resilience you already have but may have lost touch with.
In this relaxed and engaging talk hosted by Lee Tan from Well+Being, we’ll explore simple, science-backed ways to support your mental and emotional well-being through the demands of university life. You’ll learn how to:
- Activate your DOSE – the natural mood-boosting chemicals: Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, and Endorphins – to feel better and stay motivated.
- Practice Self-Compassion – especially when things aren’t going to plan, and discover how it can improve your focus and reduce burnout.
- Use tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to reduce anxiety, manage distractions, and stay on track with your values.
To close, we’ll wind down with a short somatic practice to switch on the parasympathetic nervous system — your body’s built-in calm mode. This gentle practice will help you experience what groundedness feels like, and remind you what’s possible when you work with your nervous system, not against it.
REQUIREMENTS
