This will be an introduction to mātauraka / mātauranga Māori as a knowledge system: a vision for a more inclusive, caring, and culturally responsive approach to education in Aotearoa me Te Waipounamu. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions and engage in kōrero about mātauraka and how it may be implemented in our daily lives to bring health, wellness, and success for all, but especially for akonga Māori who have long been underserved.
