The meeting was needed to ratify the minutes of the Grants Committee so that moneys could be paid to the successful clubs. Oh, and to have a listen to Pete Hodgson.

BOARDROOM OF THE OTAGO UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION ON FRIDAY 7

161/10 THAT Pete Hodgson and Pene Morris be granted speaking rights for the
duration of the meeting.

Pete was invited to address the meeting and his initial speech was about the importance of the University of Otago being in North Dunedin.
In response to queries, Pete clarifies the Select Committee process regarding the VSM Bill, and gives advice on oral submissions.
Pene notes that OUSA has an ex-officio role on the Dunedin Council of Social Services.
