We offer a modern approach to the Japanese martial art style aiki-jujutsu, based on Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu with strong influences from Hapkido. The syllabus includes joint locks, throws, groundwork, pressure points, striking, and kicking. Our jujutsu is focused on self-defense and personal growth, utilizing both hard and soft approaches. We are affiliated with Seishinkan NZ, who offer a range of other classes in weapons (staff, sword and naginata) and further training in jujutsu.

Training sessions are Wednesday's 6:300-8:00pm in the Activities Hall at OUSA - no experience is necessary and we welcome people from all backgrounds.
