Creative Integration Co-op

Creative Integration Co-op

OVERVIEW

This course is an integration between creativity and well- being. While the course will emphasise the benefits of the creative process to health and wellbeing, this is not a formal arts therapy group or an art teaching session. The focus is on self-expression, experimentation, playfulness with the materials and the nurturing of individual ideas as they emerge.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED

No need for experience or art skill of any kind.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At each session you will be asked to respond to a theme with the use of art materials. The creative process is integrative: in which movement, sensing, thinking, feeling and symbolising are unified. Using this creative process students will learn to explore ideas and personal meanings and recognise self judgement which can stifle creative processes.
