BUDGET 2023

            As distributed and attached.

            Moved from the Chair

277/22 THAT THE Otago University Students’ Association (OUSA) budget for 2023 be received and accepted with the amendment to the campaigns line from $2,500 to $3,500 as agreed.

CLUBS AND SOCIETIES BUILDING UPGRADE POSTPONMENT

There have been many conversations about continuing with the clubs and societies building upgrade as it will leave OUSA financially vulnerable even though we have a cash surplus.

This is the second phase of the upgrade, and it has been agreed through FESC that we postpone this work.

We are concerned the community grants we received to repair the roof etc may be in jeopardy but will ensure to check this out as soon as possible.

Dunedin has a lower earthquake risk, and the roof repairs isn’t urgent but still needs to be done in a timely manner.

            Moved from the Chair

278/22 THAT OUSA agrees to postpone the Clubs and Societies Centre phase two construction until our financial reserves get to an acceptable level, with a review to be held annually.

                                                                                                                        CARRIED U

Meeting closed 2.21PM
