TE RŌPŪ MĀORI UPDATE
Gemella gave a preview of the events coming up and what TRM have been up to.
OUSA UPDATES
No health and safety incidents or accidents to report. The updated health and safety policy is being submitted to PolCom meeting soon.
Budget 2025 a work in progress. More to be done yet.
Ori 2025 is a large project. There are ideas about Ori being marketed differently, especially at the older demographic as it isn’t only for first years.
Art Week display is well attended in the Link. Very good entries again this year.
STUDENT NUMBERS FOR SEMESTER TWO AS AT 31 July 2024
Reporting for quorum purposes and these figures proved are for OUSA purposes only.
20,863 students. 3,198 are enrolled in at least one distance papers.
Students may be counted at more than one campus.

ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE
It was hoped there would be an AI student who was available to sit on this committee as they would have good technology knowledge. They will be contacted.
ELECTIONS 2025 FORUM DATES
The Executive have mooted holding a forum each day for a week from 16 September, this to encourage a lot more awareness of what the Exec are doing and to let candidates know more about the roles they will be running for.
