OUSA UPDATE

• Budget setting
• Re-Ori underway and going well
• New Media Manager started on Monday

TE RŌPŪ MĀORI UPDATE

• Mystery bus tours for Re-Ori were great with 92 people attending
• Re-Ori fundraiser held to raise funds for the Cancer Society
• Conference being held in Hamilton hosted by Waikato
• Te Kapa Haka practices happening for competition in September
• Māori Leadership Forum held to further develop leadership
• Poroporoāki Leadership programme being held with all Māori divisions attending.
• Treaty framework
• Received official resignation from Te Rōpū Māori Co-Tumuaki and acknowledgment of his hard work.

UOPISA UPDATE

• Seluvaia has been on a well-deserved break and will have a full report next meeting.
• Pasifika Week coming up which will be busy.
• A get together for UOPISA and OUSA executive members being organised.

ATSA UPDATE

          Meeting been held and a full report will be submitted at the next executive meeting.

MARKETING/MEDIA UPDATE

Daniel Leamy did a very good job in the Stuff article today about student finances. Well done, Daniel.

ANTHSOC – The University of Otago Anthropology Society. Their constitutional amendment was unable to be approved due to it being over 2 months since the amendment was made. Deborah is contacting them.

GENERAL BUSINESS

University Colleges visits – Daniel and those signing up are going to Uni’ Colleges every night for the next two weeks to encourage students to enrol and vote in the local body elections. He has invitations to all on the group chat and has informed all the Colleges in advance.

Referendum results – these will be discussed at the next executive meeting.

Regular semester executive meeting times to be finalised soon.
