            The deputy proctor was invited to address the meeting as his expectation were that CCTV cameras were key to keeping students safe.  He supports consultation with students about them.  Any documentation going out he will see that students are given a chance to consult in the first instance.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

            Nothing to report.

OUSA UPDATE

Covid – looking at the necessary changes OUSA needs to make when moving through levels. Later in the week the Ministry of Health and Government announcing Covid updates. 1 case confirmed today.

Active cases 96, Cases in hospital 3, Deaths 24 confirmed cases to date 1447.

The Security guard employed at the Clubs and Societies Centre entry to ensure people were signed in finished last Friday as there wasn’t any other area of the University of Otago following such strict rules.

OUSA BUDGET 2021

As attached and previously moved to be presented to the student body.

Has been presented to the Executive and has been fully advertised on our social media channels.  It was noted there was a reduction in the Grants pool because of Covid-19 and once things settle it will hopefully go back up.
