OPEN LETTER TO NEW ZEALAND RUGBY

As emailed.  Correspondence was received asking for OUSA to urge New Zealand Rugby to end the six year sponsorship deal between the All Blacks and INEOS Group Limited.  New Zealand is recognised and celebrated globally through the All Blacks.  INEOS is one of the world’s biggest plastic polluters as well as a UK/EU oil and gas company that directly extracts fossil fuels, driving climate change.

Suggestions this letter be shared with all sports bodies for their support.  Also suggested a picket line could be held outside the Highlanders head office when the next major rugby match is scheduled

Mackenzie Everett/Polaschek

313/21 THAT the Open letter to the New Zealand Rugby on the INEOS x All Blacks sponsorship deal be received and submitted.
