PRESIDENTS BUSINESS



Budget Meeting – there will be another meeting scheduled for Friday 6 November to finalise budget decisions.



Update of satellite campuses funding arrangements – The executive need to administer these MOU’s well as they will now form an official part of our KPI’s
with Karyn Thomson, the Director of Student Services.



NZUSA fees and membership – Paul will be attend the last day of the NZUSA hui this coming Sunday. Laura will be attending the Hui and a Student Job Search
meeting in Wellington.



Toa, Chris, Isaac and Nina currently in favour of re-joining based on cheapest avenue.



There was agreement they wanted changes.



Student Job Search – Levies based on EFTS is the proposed method. Otago benefits. Polytechnics go from $100-$3000 flat rate over three years.

CLUBS MEETING MINUTES



Generation Zero – a minimum of 10 committee members wish to attend a climate change conference. They applied for $2,500 but Clubs committee agreed $1,200
was more appropriate.



Also they have three other projects. (1), $1,100 for a minimum of 10 people to attend a Hui, if any funds left-over they will bring them back. (2), Hui -
$1,200 provision to bring back addition funds for this as well. (3), $800 - climate change discussion.
